The view from the hotel window. |
I gathered up the gear and checked the hotel room while dad payed. After we walked to the cactus garden which is on the roof of the airport, we left our luggage with two girls who looked trustworthy. as we climbed the stairs dad lectured me about how we will do that one way and have all our stuff stolen but it will be worth it because we haven't had to lug the stuff around with us all this time.
A foggy picture. |
After we saw the cactus garden we boarded the plane to London. It felt like the trip took years, the flight was filled with turbulence and it was very scary because i have been reading a novel about a plane crash. When we arrived in Delhi which is in India for a stop over I noticed how different the security was. There was lots of guards with guns and dangerous chemical detectors. but there was lots of little gaps in there actual security like rather than having finger print scanners they tied a tag to your bags that could have been easily swapped to another bag. There show of control was much more visual.
When we finally arrived a Heathrow Airport I was exhausted, we had been traveling for about 14 and a half hours. My Grandpa Kevin and Grandma Isobel picked us up from arrivals and took us home and made spicy lentil and tomato soup, it was delicious.
I fell asleep the instant I crawled into bed.
